Glen
Levy as JOSH GRIFFIN Glen Levy began his training in New Zealand at the age of 5, when he fell in love with Martial Arts magazines and movies. Growing up in a farming community in search of entertainment he trained in multiple styles of Martial Arts for over a decade before creating his own unique method, with dreams of being a part of the films he loved so much.
Glen began flipping, jumping and pushing himself to the limit simply to learn how to do what his heroes in the movies could do. Unaware of the use of wires, low angles and mini tramps he trained until he could do the impossible. Fast forward, years later, this eager young extra on Hercules jumped in on one of the fight scenes, forcing the action director to take notice.
Soon after Glen was one of the top members on this stunt team, able to do the
unheard of: wire work without wires, somersaults without tramps, all of the things his heroes could do unaware
of any limitations. This athletic grounding has made him a top commodity as an
actor, stuntman and stunt choreographer on the set of several television and
movie sets: including Hercules, Xena, and most recently, the blockbuster trilogy
Lord of the Rings.
While working on Xena playing a recurring character, Glen met an equally eager
filmmaker Ted Smith. Smith was so impressed by the ambitious young star that
he began writing a feature film that centered around Glens ability and vivacious
personality. This film is titled Guardian of the Realm. As the lead character
Josh Griffin, Glen had his hands full. Carrying the weight of the film on his
shoulders, he was also stunt coordinator, fight choreographer in addition to
doing ALL of his own stunts. Glen was able to show his dramatic range as well
sustaining the intensity of the characters highs and lows to carry the narrative.
In keeping with his daredevil attitude, Glen has tackled the comedic stage, as
well. Riffing on his experiences training and collaborating with actors, Glen
created popular characters with antic glee, during stand up and Improv nights.
Glen received numerous rave reviews for his self-written, directed and produced
comedy show, Enter the Possum, where he demonstrated his flair for accents and
capitalized on his inherent physical ability to further nuance his roles.
Glen is certainly one to watch as he performs with the brooding good looks of James Dean, the physical abilities of Jet Li and Jackie Chan combined, all while maintaining an innate instinct for acting, both comedic and dramatically.
If Bruce Lee ever needed a prodigy we may have just found him.
Glens lack of ego and hunger for filmmaking has made him several connections and warm friends in the entertainment industry, both locally and internationally. Glen continues to train and teach hyoujutsu a
Martial Art he created through the combination of several other fighting forms,
emphasizing fluid defensive movements with superior angling methods. Link to IMDB
Tanya
Dempsey as ALEX MARLOWE
Tanya’s love for the arts started early in her home- town
of Phoenix Arizona. She attended Deer Valley High School where
she landed a lead role in the school play her sophomore year. “It
was a lot of pressure for my first gig, but the first time I
experienced curtain call, the rush of the applause and the lights… I
was hooked!” Tanya went on to be Vice President of her
High School Drama Club. Having the opportunity to graduate early,
Dempsey opted to stay on and take advanced theatre in addition
to student teaching and directing a group of eager underclassmen. “I
just couldn’t get enough… I had found my calling”.
When she graduated at age seventeen, she sang at her high school
graduation with a standing ovation, and was voted “Most
Likely to Be a Movie Star”.
After a few local plays and TV gigs, Tanya
found her hometown of Phoenix a little too small and decided
to make the move to L.A. “As cliché as it sounds…” Dempsey
remembers, “I really didn’t have any money… I
stuffed as much as I could into my little car and finally drove
to California. I came out here being a little naïve about
the whole thing. I figured I’d just go to Hollywood and
be an actress.” And that’s exactly what she did.
On the heels of arriving, she managed to
land the starring role in the Full Moon Production Shrieker. “I
didn’t know it then, but that was the beginning of a large
fan base that still follows me today”. The well- received
little film had an excellent run on the Sci-Fi channel and was
in Blockbusters nationwide. Tanya went on to guest star in various
Network T.V. shows, including U.S.A. High, and Clueless and several
independent films keeping her fans happy as one of Tempe Video
and Full Moon’s favorite actresses.
“Teaming up with Pirate Pictures and Director
Ted Smith for Guardian of the Realm was one of the best
decisions I ever made” States Dempsey “ I have always
wanted to do an action film and this gave me the opportunity
to really hone my skills and learn so much as a performer”.
Tanya mastered wire- work and several fight and action sequences
that she describes as “the most fun (she’s) ever
had on a set!”
Tanya was recently declared the next “It girl” by
Femme Fatales magazine, where she has become a favorite pictorially,
most recently in the May issue as “One Sexy Slayer”.
Best summed up by an online review of the
rising star, “Tanya
Dempsey has a bright future in the movie business, she’s
one of the more versatile actresses we’ve seen as she can
be the “girl next door” to the “sexy vamp”.
She brings a touch of class to all of her roles…
